Liam Ryan: Keyboardist and Vocalist
Liam Ryan is a keyboardist and vocalist with a string of credits to his name. He has twice won a coveted TUI award and recorded a gold album with The Narcs in the 1980s (he wrote their hits Heart and Soul and Diamonds on China). Liam has had two solo albums released to critical acclaim on his own Torch Music label – Mississippi To Mauao (2007) and Pacific Riviera (2010). Born and raised in Christchurch he has performed with world renowned blues and jazz artists including Robben Ford (USA) and Long John Baldry (UK). He has worked in Hollywood on movie soundtracks and has been the go-to keyboardist for top New Zealand bands working internationally and at arts and jazz festivals playing piano and hammond organ alongside a host of kiwi artists including Rodger Fox, Midge Marsden and the Torch Songs Band. Live he is likely to cover anything from laid back Van Morrison and Miles Davis jazz standards to electronic lounge grooves, soulful funk, blues and Latin.

Neville Claughton: Bassist and Vocalist
Nev Claughton is bassist / vocalist with a pedigree. In a career spanning 40 plus years Nev has done it all from Rock and Roll, Pop, Classic Hits, Jazz, Swing, you name it. A brass player with NZ Champion Woolston Brass Band in the 60’s, ex NZ Champion chord harmonica player to founding member of top ChCh group “Link” in the 70’s. ROCKONZ HALL OF FAME Merit Award for services to the industry. Musical/technical roles in Television NZ, Radio NZ, EMI Studios and working with major tour companies/artists including David Bowie, Rod Stewart, Joe Cocker, Peter Frampton, Neill Diamond and many more. A fulltime involvement in NZ’s Music Industry both as a Musician and Luthier, Nelson is now home to Nev and as a sought after sideman and band leader, The Brandy Creek Band is a new challenge, an exciting innovative move and a new horizon to explore. Whilst considered a veteran of the industry, Nev’s boundless enthusiasm, natural ability and quirky humour has him at the forefront of the local entertainment industry. Simon Terrill: Percussion
After learning drums at a young age, Simon’s passion for music grew in his late teens leading on towards two years study at Christchurch Polytechnic Jazz School in the 1990's. After studying, Simon extended his experience to performing with church bands, live events, jazz festivals, operatic shows, recordings and covers bands. With a year of full-time study in 2010 Simon somehow found to time to stamp his authority on the local entertainment scene and is rated as one of the regions top drummers, certainly regarded locally by his peers as one of the best. A very sought after sideman for visiting artists, Simon was first choice for the gig. There are few drummers who can settle in with the best in all genres from pop to blues, jazz and beyond. Simon has been in Nelson since 2002 and has earned an enviable reputation as a musician with outstanding ability and quirky humour.
Trudy Wilson: Vocalist
Trudi Wilson has spent the last 25 years carefullly creating and crafting her own musical style... it is smooth and original, is full of clever twists and turns, yet maintaining a smooth, creamy sound that will please your ears and make you want to hear more! She has a way of adding modern twists to old standards, yet can gracefully age a modern song... all while giving them her own musical stamp of originality...
She is a Vocalist, pianist, songwriter, actor, teacher and has had major parts in major stage shows (such as 'Cats', 'Little Shop of Horrors', 'Evita') as well as working alongside greats such as the late Billy.T. James and Howard Morrison, as well as other major N.Z. acts (Graham Brazier, Greg Johnson)..
She also records ads for T.V and radio and is currently working on writing and recording her own material... a must see and hear for any occasion!
Glynn Olsen: Guitarist
Glynn attended Nelson School of Music in the late 80's and in the early 90's then went on to study at Christchurch Jazz School. He has also studied as an audio engineer, is a songwriter and has recorded and released his own recordings.
Glynn has a great love for the blues and has played with various Christchurch bands: Black Cat Bone, Box of Blues and Scarecrow. He tutors on guitar and is highly respected by his peers. Since moving to Nelson in 2004 he has been content to play only the occasional gig and lap up the Nelson lifestyle. Having made the decision to return to performace work,he is now a full member of The Brandy Creek Band. An exciting blues based stylist this stunning musician is humble about his talents merely saying that he "likes to play a little guitar..."
